Rumpke Recycling Center
1190 Joyce Ave. | Columbus
Join Go Green Granville for a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Rumpke Recycling Center where the aluminum cans, glass jars and other recyclable materials collected in Granville are sorted using artificial intelligence-assisted technology. Rumpke recently opened this new $100 million, 226,000-square-foot material recycling facility which is described as the “largest and most technologically advanced” in North America.
Rumpke Tour Notes: There is ample guest parking in front of the building. As an active plant, there will likely be substantial truck traffic near the driveway, so use caution when entering & exiting. When you arrive, please tell the receptionist you are with Go Green Granville. Please dress casually and comfortably and note that temperatures may vary. For your safety, please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes with backs (no sandals, flip-flops or heels).
Because access to the recycling facility is limited, we kindly request that you RSVP for this event.
